SustainLab RCA

———————————–
———————————–

SustainLab is a collaborative platform for all RCA students to explore what sustainability is and how it can be progressed. It is a middle ground for ideas to be challenged, investigated, experimented, and shared.

What We Do:

SustainLab organises events, workshops and biweekly open-crits for students to develop their knowledge of sustainability and how to incorporate it into their creative processes.

To follow our calendar please go to  our social media accounts: @sustainlabrca (twitter and instagram).

Who We Are:

SustainLab is a student-led society based at the Royal College of Art in London.

Co-founded in 2017 by Becky MillerAnna Laura-SchlimmNeta Steingart and Libby Landenberg.

SustainLab is now in its second year and is currently run by:

Rebecca Lardeur, president and Kenneth Arnold, vice-president

Where we came from:

SustainLab was set up in response to the closure of the college’s own SustainRCA department back in 2016. Recognising the importance of maintaining a dedicated space for sustainability, the intention of the society was to support, champion and nurture a critical sustainability mindset in the artists and designers of the future.
