What are societies?
Societies are formed around certain aims or subjects of interest, organising workshops, lectures, seminars, outings, or social events. Clubs & Societies give the RCA community a place to mix, play, work and experiment. Each society is given £300 to spend on activities and can fundraise! To call yourself a society at the RCA, you must be affiliated with the SU.

Societies are now live! Scroll down to see existing societies, with more being added over the next few weeks!
If you are looking to join a society, you can do so via the Student Union Website (The one you are on right now!) Just follow these steps to ensure that you are signed up as a member to your chosen society.
1. Head to the society you are interested in joining. Click on their logo.
2. In the sidebar that is titled 'Join Group' click Add to Basket.
3. In the top right hand corner of the page, there is a little basket symbol. Click it and it will open up a side bar that shows the content of your basket. Click proceed to checkout.
4. A checkout page should open and the final step is just to click the confirm button.
If you want to run a society or set up a new society, you'll be invited to training in a few weeks time to understand how our societies work and what you need to do.
