As part of the SustainLabRCA Talk programme, join Alkesh Parmar, a British-Indian interdisciplinary practitioner, who will share his insights on sustainability and green practice.

Alkesh Parmar pioneered the use of local waste materials, with a particular focus on orange peel. He has been exploring this material for more than 15 years, creating a variety of products, including a juicer and a lampshade. His practice combines craft with critical design, questioning the effects of globalisation.
