QUEER Society is an intersectional space and platform for students to discuss issues that are important to our queer lives. Anyone can come and enjoy our wide range of events – from film screenings and quiz nights to workshops and exhibitions. We can’t wait to welcome you to this supportive RCA community!
We aim to support queer students by creating a safe, inclusive, fun space to meet where we can exchange ideas and collaborate. We meet up regularly to catch up socially and collaborate on events and creative pursuits. In the past we’ve held exhibitions at RCA’s Dyson Gallery, as well as collectively producing an annual zine featuring RCA students, hosting live performances, queer art crits, and more! We’ve also done work to raise awareness and money for queer charities like Gendered Intelligence, which we’d like to continue this year. The QUEER Society is also the point of contact for those outside of college who may want to contact or collaborate with queer students at the RCA.
