We are a democratic organisation, which means that students set the agenda. Some of the most direct ways this is done is through the Students' Union Assembly, which all students can get involved in. The SU Assembly gives students the power to direct the officers/Union in what it should be doing and what opinions and actions it should take on important issues.
What is the Students' Union Assembly?
The SU Assembly is where all students come together to discuss important issues to students, education and wider society. This is the largest democratic body of the Students' Union with all students automatic members.
The Students' Union Assembly took place on 20th March. The below motions were presented:
Motion 1
Motion 2
Both motions were passed with a majority. Proxy votes were permitted and submitted.
